As part of fulfilling its goal and mission of nurturing aspiring youthful academics and inspiring a new generation of researchers, the Nigerian Young Academy launched the “Talk to Your Professors” programme. The Talk to Your Professors initiative is an informal interactive mentorship platform designed to help cascade the research capacity, skills and other wealth of experience of NYA members and fellows to younger/upcoming researchers. The event since its commencement has attracted participants from various institutions, diverse disciplines and various academic levels (Master’s students, Doctoral students, Undergraduates, etc.), who have testified of its impact.
