Biographical Info
Biographical Info:
My name is Ubaidullah Muhammad graduate student from Kebbi State University of Science and Technology Aliero Nigeria. Where I obtain my BSc and MSc in Microbiology with 3.85/5.0 and 4.47/5.0 CGPA with relevant course works: Virology, Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, Bacteriology, Mycology, Environmental and Soil Microbiology, microbial Genetics and Genomics,, microbial physiology and metabolism, physical, organic, Inorganic Chemistry, Biotechnology, Immunology and immunochemistry, My research work on molecular identification of AMR Gene from Uropathogenic E. coli and K. Pneumoniea from clinical sample, for detection of blaTEM, bla CTX-M, 16S rRNA. which expand my critical thinking and problem solving ability and also enriched me with experience and developed advanced technical skills on Culture based Method, Antimicrobial SucseptibilityTesting, DNA Extraction, Conventional PCR, Gel Electrophoresis. This experience motivated me to embrace my academic journey in participating and Presenting at Scientific Meeting, Webinar, Workshops, and International Conferences, such as the 7th International CAPCDR Conference on Public Health and Technology, 8th international CAPCDRconference on Artificial Intelligence and Technology in Academia In addition to my career i am among Reviewer for Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medical Research.
Discipline:
Ph.D Microbiology in-view, MS.c, BS.c Microbiology
Area Of Specialization:
Medical, Environmental Microbiology, Immunology, Public Health.
Institution:
Kebbi State University of Science and Technology Aliero
Research interest:
My research interest lies at the intersection of bacterial pathogenesis, host immunity, and antimicrobial resistance challenge which in turn energize me to develop interest in vaccine development and drug discovery. I'm particularly focused on understanding the molecular mechanism by which bacterial pathogens evade immune system and by which wish to proceed on how this knowledge can articulate the design of next generation vaccine. My work has involve identification of Antimicrobial Resistance from clinical and environmental sample, with the aim of identifying Resistant gene from Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa among others. I'm also interested in the development of adjuvant and delivery system that enhance immune system against bacterial pathogens, by exploring vaccinology approach and molecular biology tools to screen bacterial genome. By collaborating with microbiologist, Immunologist, pharmacists, and computational biologist, particularly in the context of AMR and global health and environmental challenges. I will be of great and welcome a collaboration related to vaccine development antigen discovery, AMR surveillance and prevention, genomics and proteomics research. By joining this great research network with highly resources individuals and environment, I wish and hope to foster my career in development of vaccine and drug discovery, AMR challenges and learn from the team expertise.
