Biographical Info:
Dr Ifeoluwa Oyeyemi is a lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, Nigeria. She holds a B.Sc. (Ed.) in Biology. She also obtained M.Sc and PhD in Zoology (Cell Biology and Genetics) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. During her PhD program, she received the DBT-TWAS Sandwich Fellowship Award tenable at the Bose Institute, Kolkata, India in 2013. Her research interest is in the study of the modulatory effects of natural products against chronic diseases. She is widely travelled and has research collaborators in different parts of the world. She has published several peer-reviewed articles in reputable international journals. She has won several grants and awards. She is a member of the Nigerian Young Academy.
