Moses O. Alfred is a passionate environmental advocate and scientist specializing in water and air quality issues, purification, and pollution control. Renowned for groundbreaking research, developing low-cost materials from waste to remove contaminants. Committed to driving policy changes to safeguard public health and promote sustainability. Expertise in evaluating governmental and stakeholder initiatives and providing scientific insights for informed decision-making. International recognized for innovative contributions, including novel adsorbents and photocatalytic materials. Committed educator, mentoring students and shaping the next generation of environmental scientists. Driven by a passion for sustainability, leaving a lasting impact through research, peer review, and mentorship. He is a senior research fellow at the African Center of Excellence for Water and Environmental Research (ACEWATER), and a faculty member of the Department of Chemical Sciences, Redeemer's University, Ede, Nigeria. He is an Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) fellow and a recipient of other international research grants and fellowships such as The World Academy of Science (TWAS) MSc Scholarship, African-German Network of Excellence in Sciences (AGNES) mobility grant and the TWAS-CNPq Sandwich PhD Fellowship for his MSc and PhD studies (2016 and 2021 respectively) at Redeemer’s University, Ede, Nigeria. He owns a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Industrial Chemistry from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Nigeria (2013).
