Biographical Info:

Dr. Lukman O. Olasunkanmi obtained B.Sc. Honours (Chemistry) with First Class from the Department of Chemistry, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 2007, and M.Sc. (Chemistry) from the same Department in 2012. He badged PhD in Chemistry from the North-West University (NWU), South Africa in 2016 and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the NWU (2016 – 2019), and UJ (2020 – 2021).

He was employed as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Chemistry, OAU in 2011 and rose through the ranks to become Senior Lecturer in 2020. He is currently the Vice-Dean of Faculty of Science, OAU since July 2022. He is also a Senior Research Associate at the Department of Chemical Sciences, Faculty of Science, University of Johannesburg (UJ), South Africa.
