Biographical Info:

Rafiu Olalekan Yusuf (Ph.D) is Professor of Geography in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He was born on 20th March 1975 in Ijomu Oro, Kwara State. He had his primary and secondary education in Ansarul Islam Nursery Primary School (1979-1986) and Ansarul Islam Grammar School (1987-1992) respectively at Ijomu Oro. He proceeded to University of Ilorin where he bagged his BSc, Msc and PhD degrees. He joined the services of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2007 and he rose through the rank to become a Professor in 2019. He has teaching, research, supervisory and consultancy experience in Development Studies, Rural Development, Agricultural Geography, Population and Demographic Studies and Environmental Management. He is married and blessed with children.
