Biographical Info:

Dr. Olayinka ATILOLA is currently an Associate Professor of Psychiatry, affiliated with the Department of Behavioural Medicine, Lagos State University. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery. He is also trained in the field of Psychiatry with specialization in Child and Adolescent mental health. He holds the Fellowships of the Medical College of Psychiatrists of Nigeria and the West African College of Physicians, being the highest academic and professional certifications in clinical medicine in the region. He is also an alumnus of the Child and Youth Studies program of the International Institute of Social Studies in Hague, Netherlands. Dr. Atilola is widely published, with over 85 peer-reviewed academic publications to his credit. At least three of his publications are in the Lancet Journal Series, rated in the top 1% of global academic journals in medicine. His main area of research interest is child and adolescent psychiatry research. He is a Young Physician Leader of the World Academy of Science and co-founder, International Child Mental Health Study Group
