Biographical Info:
Michael I. Ugwueze is a Ph.D holder and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Political Science, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Ugwueze was among the twelve (12) junior African scholars sponsored by Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main, Germany and the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Studies (STIAS), South Africa to attend the 2017 Summer School in Bamako. He has authored many publications in reputable journals, including Journal of Applied Security Research, Civil Wars, Society, Security Journal, Journal of Asian and African Studies and Review of African Political Economy. His research interests are in the areas of conflict, peace and security studies, governance and development.
