Biographical Info:
I earned a B.Tech in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria, followed by graduate training in Medicinal Biochemistry at Landmark University, Omu-Aran. I then joined the EDCTP2-funded Genomics and Precision Medicine program at the African Institute of Biomedical Science and Technology (AiBST) in Harare, Zimbabwe, where I trained under Prof. Collen Masimirembwa and collaborated with investigators at Chinhoyi University of Technology on pharmacogenetics projects. I am currently at Tulane University School of Medicine as a research assistant, where I develop and apply multi-omics and pharmacogenomics approaches to the study of complex diseases.
Discipline:
Biomedical Informatics and Genomics
Area Of Specialization:
Pharmacogenomics
Multiomics Integration
Precision Medicine
Genetic Regulations
Institution:
Landmark University
Tulane University, School of Medicine
Research interest:
I am a scientific researcher that specializes in investigating complex diseases, including cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and osteoporosis, through advanced bioinformatics approaches. I apply computational tools to drive biomarker discovery, target identification, and validation. A central focus of my work is understanding epigenetic regulatory mechanisms across these disease contexts, with the long-term goal of developing evidence-based biomarkers to guide clinical decision-making and improve patient care.
