Biographical Info:

Ezekiel Omotoso is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He has a B.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics from Physics Department (now Physics and Engineering Physics Department) in 2006 and M.Sc. in Electronic & Electrical Engineering in 2012 at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He later proceeded to the University of Pretoria, South Africa where he bagged his PhD in Physics in 2016.
Dr Omotoso joined Federal Polytechnic Ede in 2009 where he initially taught Physics and impacted students positively. He was later appointed as a Graduate Assistant in 2010 and rose to the post of Senior Lecturer in 2020. Furthermore, he specializes in Solid State Physics. Ezekiel has authored articles in highly rated journals to his credit. He has also presented some of his research findings at reputable conferences.
His PhD was funded by Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND). He was awarded scholarships from the University of Pretoria during his PhD program as well postdoctoral fellowship from the same university. Ezekiel was awarded Dapo Afolabi Most Productive Faculty of Science Scholar of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He has been a beneficiary of some research grants.
He is a member of some professional bodies which include Nigeria Institute of Physics (NIP), MATERIALS Science and Technology SOCIETY OF NIGERIA (MSN), South Africa Institute of Physics (SAIP) and South Africa Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNAP).
Dr Ezekiel Omotoso is married to Dr (Mrs) Kehinde Omotoso and blessed with three children – Rhoda, Phebe and Epaphras.
