Olumuyiwa Sunday Asaolu
Born in Ibadan, Oyo State though of Ijesha parentage. Attended UMC Primary School, Molete and Ibadan Boys High School. Obtained a B.Sc in Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) (1991). Likewise, M.Sc in Engineering Analysis (1995), and PhD in Engineering Analysis (2002) from same institution as only recipient till date. Trainee Civil/Systems Engineer with Zentech Nig Ltd before joining the engineering faculty of UNILAG in 1995. Was an exchange-student at the doctoral level at the University of Oklahoma, USA in 1999 and a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Tennessee, USA between Nov 2003 and Oct 2005. Currently a full Professor of Systems Engineering at UNILAG. Has successfully supervised and mentored several doctoral candidates.
